Victoria Azarenka promises to learn from Australian Open victory

She doesn't make life easy on herself that often, but Victoria Azarenka is now a two-time Australian Open champion following a flawed, fascinating three-set win over Li Na.

If Victoria Azarenka was a football team she would be Millwall. The Australian Open women's champion left Melbourne to the echo of whistles and grumbles, her coach, Sam Sumyk, calling journalists who had the temerity to question her sportsmanship

Victoria Azarenka may have outlasted Li Na in a tense, three-set final to win the women's singles title at the Australian Open but she was hardly the only competitor in the field that garnered attention in Melbourne.

MELBOURNE, Australia â€" Victoria Azarenka had the bulk of the crowd against her. The fireworks were fizzling out, and when she looked over the net she saw Li Na crashing to the court and almost knocking herself out.
