Less than 10 days after announcing that Austin will be Google Fiber's second city (Kansas City, KS and MO, and surrounding small towns qualified as Google's first), the company announced suddenly that Provo, Utah will become the รข€œthird Google Fiber

Google said Wednesday that it plans to make Provo, Utah its third Google Fiber City. The Mountain View, Calif.-based company announced that it will take its high-speed gigabit Internet service to Provo by taking over an existing fiber-optic network there.

Less than two weeks after Google Google announced it was expanding its super-fast broadband network to Austin, Texas, the company says it is also bringing Google Fiber it to Provo, Utah. This will make Provo the third big city to host a Google Fiber
